Max Messinger, MD

Dr. Max Messinger is a physician, scientist, and educator with a deep commitment to supporting future medical professionals. He holds an MD from Wake Forest University School of Medicine, where he was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha and the Gold Humanism Honor Society, two of medicine's highest honors for academic excellence and compassionate care. A proud “Triple Deac,” Max also received a B.S. with Honors and M.S. in Biology from Wake Forest University.

Currently a resident physician at UMass Chan School of Medicine, Max brings firsthand insight into every stage of the medical journey, from pre-med advising to medical school and residency applications. Max began working with aspiring medical students as an MCAT tutor, sharing the strategies that helped him earn a score in the 100th percentile.

A non-traditional applicant himself — he spent years as a leading researcher studying illegal gold mining in the Peruvian Amazon before entering medicine — Max knows firsthand that there is no one-size-fits-all path to becoming a physician. He works with each client to ensure their unique voice and story shine through.
