  • Book your free 20-minute intro call and we'll take it from there. We can't wait to meet you!

  • Your intro call is a relaxed, 20-minute conversation — no pressure, no commitment. It's a chance for us to learn about you, your goals, and your timeline, and for you to ask any questions about our process and services. From there, we'll recommend the best path forward for your application journey.

  • We work with students applying to college, graduate school, law school, medical school, and for prestigious fellowships and awards. Whether you're just beginning the process or currently in the thick of it, we're here to help. Please note: we only work with students in 9th grade and above.

  • Your primary coach will be Dr. Erica Fedor, who leads all client engagements full-time.

For medical school and BS/MD applicants, Dr. Max Messinger contributes his specialized expertise to specific elements of your application — including personal statement and activities reviews, secondary essay feedback, and mock interview preparation. During your intro call, we'll map out how Max's contributions fit into your application strategy and build in dedicated time with him accordingly.

  • A lot of admissions consultants offer generic editing and surface-level feedback. We offer something different: doctoral-level expertise, genuine mentorship, and a deeply personalized approach grounded in real academic and professional experience.

We don't just improve your essays. We help you clarify your story, build your confidence, and present the most compelling version of yourself. When you work with Essay Doctors, you're not a transaction. You're a client we're genuinely invested in.

  • Most of our coaching is done live via video call, which allows for real-time brainstorming, feedback, and collaboration. We also offer asynchronous review — where we provide detailed written feedback on your drafts between sessions — to help build momentum while maximizing both quality and efficiancy. We'll find a rhythm that works best for you.

  • It depends on your timeline, the number of essays, and the level of support you need — as well as where you are in your writing journey.

Some students come to us as confident writers looking to refine and elevate their work; others find writing more challenging and benefit from more hands-on guidance throughout the process.

Either way, we meet you exactly where you are. We'll build a realistic roadmap together so you always know what to expect.
